Involving the community in organising a fun, exciting, quality event aimed at unearthing new vocal talent in Orange and surrounding areas, whilst raising funds for Orange Ronald McDonald House & the Orange Regional Conservatorium.

Terms and Conditions for Orange Star Search:
- You must be an Australian Citizen or permanent Resident.
- Fill out entry details and nominate the age category and sign permission section to participate in Orange Star Search Activities.
- All Competitors under 16 years must have their entry signed by a parent or guardian.
- You must not in any way have a recoding contract- only amateurs need apply
- Age groups- Junior 8-15 years Senior 16years plus
- Contestants must make themselves available for promotional activities
- Contestants must have their own professionally recorded back up music (no acoustic material)
- Contestants must make themselves available if they reach the semi-finals for the Gala night being the 21st July at Orange Ex-Services Club Orange 6pm.
- Only one song to be sung at a time however if a compilation is sung it must not run any longer that a normal song of 3-4 mins.
- In case a contestant cannot perform on the Gala night a reserve person will be chosen by the next highest contestant on the judges scoring.
- Solo contestants only – no groups.
People's Choice Votes:
People's Choice Votes will be accepted UP TO and ON the Gala Night.
A special CD compilation of the finalists will be on sale on the Gala Night.
Also on the night....a Silent Auction will be held.

Orange Ex-Services Club Orange
- Star Search is for amateurs only.
- Nomination forms will only be accepted with a bank cheque or money order, payable to: Orange Star Search PO Box 497 Orange NSW 2800.
- The nomination fee is non-refundable.
- You will be contacted with a date and time for your audition.
- You will need to supply a backing CD for your song.

GALA NIGHT 7.30pm Saturday 21st July 2007 at the Orange Ex-Services Club.:
The Gala Night features 12 local singers who will be competing for fantastic Jetset prizes. Prizes such as a 9 night P&O Cruise and a Sunlover 3 x Theme Park Pass & Accommodation on the Gold Coast!
Gala Night Tickets -$10 Adults : $5 Children
